Successful downsizing and sale of insurance company

Presented a strategy and the led the project for an insurance/reinsurance business in run-off to prepare a solvent scheme of arrangement while simultaneously exploring opportunities to sell the company. The key to its successful implementation was the retention of key claims and accounting staff which was successfully achieved through a combination of incentive programmes, a clear strategy, being open and transparent about timeframes, objectives and future support for staff and encouraging staff to maintain their skills.
